If we reflect on the Lord’s Prayer, it started with OUR FATHER, revealing to us the existence and character of our true God. He is not an abstraction, nor a psychological manifestation created by our own weak image and likeness; nor is He just a CREATOR, as the feminists and deists like to address Him, for He does not leave His children orphaned and bastards after making them (John 14:18.) He continues to feed us NOT BY BREAD ALONE, but by every word that comes forth from His mouth (Mat. 4:4.) It is for this reason that His KINGDOM COME that His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. The King established His Kingdom on earth that His precepts will be implemented and followed. This KINGDOM by which we must seek in today’s Gospel is His Church and God’s righteousness is Her DOCTRINES, DOGMAS, and MORALS, all decrees of the King.

In today’s pluralistic, relativistic, information driven, and “anything goes” society, it is arrogant to profess that God established only one Church, as it is in claiming that there is only one true God. But this impression on arrogance is rooted in ignorance. In OUR FATHER, after GOD was introduced, RELIGION came next, that is, HIS KINGDOM COME. After which, DOCTRINE immediately and logically followed: YOUR WILL BE DONE.

DOCTRINES, DOGMAS, AND MORALS, the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD, these belong to the “THOU SHALL NOT SAY” commandments in modern(ist) theology. They are not so “fitting” in today’s age. They are not so “ECUMENICALLY CORRECT” as they offend others and cause divisions (exactly as what Christ’s said in Mat. 10:34.) These are medievalistic and antiquated collections which properly belong to antique stores or museums and sold to the stagnant Traditionalists! “

Modernists Philosophers dismissed the fact that there are knowledge which cannot be known thoroughly by reason alone; Liberation Theologians, on the other hand, forgot that every conversion is the work of the Holy Spirit (1Cor. 3:6,) the product of prayers and faith, and not by WORKS ALONE. Modernist exegetes and Dogmatic Theologians approach doctrines only in an anthropocentric or Human-centered level, disregarding the INCARNATED APPROACH to Divine Revelation which considers both the human, as well as the divine elements of the faith. The problem of these modernists approach to theology, the excessive reliance and emphasis on the social-political-economical-cultural, not to mention heretical methodology, is that “it does not invite God to His Own dinner table,” as Pope Benedict XVI insightfully noticed. As a result, theologians are becoming anybody (i.e. athletes, sociologists, psychologists, political analysts, politicians and negotiators,) but themselves. If only THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD is first properly taught, firmly established, and religiously practiced, THEN ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED. These methodologies are secondary. Let us not give so much emphasis on the shells as forgetting the value of the pearls. It is not surprising then that Traditionalists are very rich, as they know the great value of these pearls. They sold everything they got to buy them (Mat. 13:45-46) from the antique store. In contrast, a modernist swine is contented with the shells because he does not know the value of the pearls and he tramples them underfoot (Mat. 7:6) or get rid of it.

I fear for some priests and theologians who have no firm background in apologetics, and worse, show disgust and contempt over it! How will they present God’s Word to the people? How will they preserve these treasures from thieves? The same goes with those in the same predicament and engaged in further heretical studies under the guise of answering the call for interreligious dialogue, how could they possibly detect and reject what is false if they turned off their apologetics sensors, or IF THEY HAVE NO APOLOGETICS SENSORS AT ALL??? With all those lovely chats with the whore, are you telling your bride that your purpose is to refute her seductive lips? With all those sweet, sparkled eyes testimonies you made about her, do you really want to convert her or make love with her? Wasn’t the gospel clear? YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS… HOW ARE YOU GOING TO KNOW THE VALUE OF THE PEARLS WHEN YOU ARE NO LONGER ACQUIANTED WITH THEM?

How did this error in theology happen? It happened because the order which God intended for our salvation was not faithfully followed. We have to put things back to order if we ought to arrive at the promise land. The Lord’s prayer started with OUR FATHER, God therefore should be the center of everything we do instead of man. Second, in order not to be intoxicated by the various notions of God, one must drink from the pure spiritual milk so that through it we may grow into salvation (1Pet. 2:2.) The milk could only come from Our Mother Church, from her two paps of love of God and love of neighbor. We must therefore seek God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS in His KINGDOM, the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. AMEN.

Verizon will continue to support other smartphone manufacturers

MobileMe officially available only online

The guys at 9to5mac have received from their very interesting user a screenshot confirming the only online availability of MobileMe.

A few days ago we had reported about the disappeared from the shelves of the package containing the license for this Apple service that, from today onwards, can be purchased online only.

Currently it is not possible to purchase immediately the annual license but must necessarily rely on 60-day free trial. That Apple wants to make MobileMe free?

There are many factors that lead us to think about this but it could suffer from all those have bought just the annual license. Perhaps the news about MobileMe will be presented during the next event of 2 March, maybe just as "one more thing".

Is my child really gifted?

The definition of giftedness is elusive at best, but talent and creativity abound in those around us.  As mothers and teachers, it is often hard to separate whether the sparks of genius we see are genuine or not.  There is no one way to "test" for gifted ability, but there are some traits that are common in gifted individuals.  A list of these character traits will help parents to begin to better understand how to identify giftedness in their children.

There is a very readable book called The Survival Guide for Parents of Gifted Children, by Sally Yahnke Walker Ph.D., which provides and overview of what it means to be gifted, and what parents should know and do to help their children.  Click on the link to read parts of this book and to access another checklist of gifted characteristics.

Trust yourself!  In the article Twelve Myths of Gifted Education by Louise Porter Ph.D,  she cites several studies which show that parents are accurate in identifying giftedness in their young children; much more accurate than teachers!

She says, "Many writers in the field of the education of the gifted report that as parents have detailed knowledge of their child’s milestones, motivation and personalities, and see their children in a range of settings and performing a range of tasks, they are skilled at recounting their children’s abilities (Feldhusen & Baska, 1989; Robinson, 1987; Roedell et al., 1980). Indeed, in two studies (Ciha, 1974; Jacobs,1971), parents correctly judged their child’s giftedness 76% of the time, compared with 22% and 4.3% for early childhood teachers’ ratings in the respective studies. These findings are similar to those of Louis and Lewis (1992) who found that 61% of parents correctly identified their preschool children’s advanced development, with the remaining 39% of the children falling just below the gifted category. Meanwhile, using a cut-off score of an IQ of 130 points, two-thirds of parents in a study by Silverman et al. (1986) correctly recognized their children as gifted, with 100% being correct in their identification if the cut-off score was set at120 IQ points."

In spite of the research, parents are often told, "All parents think that their children are gifted!" Don't be deterred by this attitude--if you feel that your child has gifted tendencies, speak up....you are probably absolutely right!

Estimates suggest that the production figures iPad 2 300.000/400.000 would have reduced the units between February and March from the initially planned units 400.000/600.000. Apple products came in third highest-grossing films of 2010

In the past we talked about Apple's close relationship with Hollywood and the television industry but recent data underline and confirm what many already guessed: Apple is the true and undisputed king of product placement. Many remember the iPad slipping at the Grammy Awards, details of Wall-E or Toy Story 3 iMac but things are going much further.

Apple has given Brandcameo Award 2010 Award for Overall Product Placement after verifying that the products of the company (from Macs to iPhones and iPods) appeared in 30 some of the major films released in 2010, more than any other brand including Nike, Chevrolet or Ford, who share second place with 24% of blockbusters or Sony, Dell, Land Rover and Glock in third place with 15%.

Apple products have appeared in 112 of the 334 highest-grossing Hollywood films between 2001 and 2010, which put into perspective, involves more than the combined sum of occurrences of McDonald's and Nike (92 films). And that does not include those not swept the box office. Only between 2009 and 2010, Apple products were to be seen in films such as Morning Glory, Repo Men, Machete, The Book of Eli, Gulliver's Travels, Night and Day, Drag Me to Hell, The Orphan, or Percy Jackson and the thief Ray among others. In the latter, for example, the protagonist goes so far as to use the chrome on your iPod touch to defeat Medusa (Uma Thurman).

And this despite the second consecutive year that Apple has seen their dominant position in Hollywood. In 2009, its audience share among the top-grossing films was 40% while 2008 marked the highest peak of the company with a figure close to 50%. Apple is betting big on this effective advertising technique but the rest have also taken note and many of the movies that once would have shown the apple products are now covered with the logos of HP, Dell or Sony Vaio.

In fact, Sony Pictures has tried to completely remove the Apple products of their films by replacing some openly Vaio laptops. But even scenes like the chat between Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson in Something's Gotta Give with individual MacBooks is not possible today, Hollywood is showing a preference for Apple iPhone and MacBook sneaking some in the wake of Sex and the City despite have an agreement with HP.
