The HTC Incredible S was unveiled to the public in February during the Mobile World Congress, compared to its predecessor, this version also will be marketed on the European market.
"S" series, this device is currently the only one to still be based on Google Android 2.2 Froyo, however, the taiwanese manufacturer has announced the upcoming upgrade to Gingerbread. The device is currently available for purchase on e-commerce eXpansys Italy, as we can see from the screenshot, the price was set at € 554.99.

The update of Windows Phone 7 February begins to reach terminals distributed in Spain, at least in the case of the HTC Vodafone Trophy, although this is not the strong upgrade, but a simple snack that will allow to install which should arrive this month of March with the copy and paste by flag. Thus it seems that the promise of universal updates Microsoft is a noted.
The update is done through Zune, which also must be upgraded with a small patch automatically to be able to proceed to update the phone. In a previous article we talked about the HTC Wildfire, more precisely of the fact that HTC will not update the device to Gingerbread. All holders of this device can however count on the support of XDA-Developers community, always very active.
The guys at XDA have managed to get the newest ROM based on Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread on Wildfire, commercially starting next May. This material will enable them to make the porting of ROM also old Wildfire.
We just have to wait and cross your fingers!

One of the most anticipated rumors that finally came true in the Mobile World Congress was the mobile Facebook was developed HTC . One of them seems not to have come to a good start in Spain with respect to designation, and subtle changes of name.
We talked about the keyboard model QWERTY The HTC Chacha , which will now be known as HTC ChaChaCha , thus ending with the meaning that we seek to the first name, and adopting a name more lively.
HTC has also taken to inform that the name change has nothing to do with a demand that they have of course plagiarism, which comes from another Taiwanese company named ChaCha Inc . According to HTC , the marks are used in very different spaces market.

A few months after its launch, HTC is preparing to market its Merge, mid-range device with technical interest and a pleasing design.
The HTC Merge arriving in the U.S. market from next spring, for the moment no detail about the possible price. For those who do not know it yet, here's some information about its technical features:

Three UK confirms Android 2.3 Gingerbread HTC Desire
Three UK operations, in response to a user's request, confirming the release of the ROM-based HTC Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread Desire.
As we can see from the screenshot above, you ianmcmillan through the official page of twitter 'operator, asked if the issue was scheduled for the Gingerbread Desire. The response did not long in coming, Three UK has confirmed that there will be an update, although for the moment not yet been scheduled for his release.

As we have reported in recent days, at the Mobile World Congress 2011, HTC unveiled to the public the new Desire S, device very similar to the first version, but with some improvement in most.
In the United Kingdom and Germany has already begun pre-order the device:

The family will receive Desire Gingerbread HTC Desire S after departure
Currently only officially available Nexus S Android 2.3, better known as Gingerbread, but at the Mobile World Congress leading manufacturers showed their new phones with the latest version, at least Sony Ericsson, HTC, and Samsung the most important.
HTC plans to upgrade their existing handsets when I have adapted and optimized its interface HTC Sense, and tell us not come until the HTC Desire S is in the street, sometime in the spring, "May?.
It is undoubtedly good news for mobile users, and I speak in plural because we speak the original Desire, and its variants more modern and powerful HTC Desire HD and Z.
The news comes from the mouth of its own HTC at Mobile World Congress, and although this does not mean that times may be long as in the past, we believe that from now manufacturers are going to take this matter more seriously.

HTC Salsa and ChaCha: for addicted to Facebook
Finally there are Facebook phones, but they are tightly integrated with the network. Whether you have a physical button and very well located to serve exclusively for use Facebook. New entry-level HTC: Will the Wildfire 2? (Video)

In the first few seconds of video, however, is a mysterious device, it is almost certainly an entry-level, very similar aesthetically to Wildfire, but without the optical trackpad.
For the moment we do not have absolute certainty, but chances are it is the Wildfire 2, probably unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2011 to be held in Barcelona February 14 to 17.
We just have to wait.
