Step 1) Open up the side of the case. Set the case on its side on a flat surface.

Step 2) Insert the motherboard risers into the case.

Step 3) It's time to install the CPU. First, release the socket lever by moving it slightly sideways, then raise it to a 90-degree angle. Line up the chip, but don't force the chip into place. When you have the CPU lined up, bring the lever down and lock it back into place to make sure that the CPU is held securely.

Step 4) Place a dollop of thermal paste on top of the chip. The compound conducts heat well and increases cooling efficiency by filling in the small spaces between the CPU and the surface of the heat sink.

Step 5) Install the cooler on top of the CPU and clip it onto the motherboard. Yes I know it's huge, but it is actually better than pervious intel coolers.

Step 6) Insert the RAM. The memory slots you use (you'll see several) will depend on your memory configuration, so consult the manual before you install the sticks. The RAM modules are designed so that you can't put them in backward—if one isn't going in, don't force it.

Step 7) Install the power supply.

 Step 8) Set the motherboard on the risers and screw it into place.

Step 9) Open the front panel of the case and then take out the temporary face plates.

Step 10) Install your graphics card and hard drives. Be very careful with a card this size, it can easily catch on assorted cords in the case.

Step 11) Slide your optical drive into the front of the case.

Step 12) Now that all the hardware is installed, it's time to start wiring. Find the 20-pin power socket on the motherboard, and plug in the matching power-supply connector. Do the same with the power plug that mates with the four-pin socket near the CPU. Finally, connect all of the leads from the external USB ports, indicator lights, the status display, and audio jacks to their appropriate motherboard partners. Next, do the same with the leads from the internal drives.

Step 13) Your work assembling the hardware is done. Now you're ready to load Windows 7 and get to work.

HTTPS security is being made available to Facebook users slowly, so though it might not be available to you now, it should appear soon. The option will exist as part of the advanced security features on Facebook.

Facebook announced that it is now offering users the ability to use encryption to protect their accounts from being compromised when they are interacting with the site, something security experts have been seeking for a while.  The site currently uses HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) when users log in with their passwords, but now everything a user does on the site will be encrypted if he turns the feature on, the company said in a blog post.

Enabling full-session HTTPS eliminates the ability for attackers to use tools like the Firefox plug-in called Firesheep to snoop on communications between a person's computer and the site's server over Wi-Fi.  "Starting today we'll provide you with the ability to experience Facebook entirely over HTTPS. You should consider enabling this option if you frequently use Facebook from public Internet access points found at coffee shops, airports, libraries, or schools," the post says. "The option will exist as part of our advanced security features, which you can find in the Account Security section of the Account Settings page." 

Using HTTPS may mean that some pages will take a little bit longer to load, and some third-party applications aren't currently supported, the company said. The option is rolling out over the next few weeks. "We hope to offer HTTPS as a default whenever you are using Facebook sometime in the future," the post says.
"Every user's Facebook page is unique and it's been complex pulling together all the different parts," said Facebook Chief Security Officer Joe Sullivan when asked what the time frame is to making HTTPS the default setting. "It's an interesting technical challenge for the company."

Step to use number portability service

1 . Type message in your mobile phone PORT Followed by Spece then type your mobile number.
     For Example :  PORT 9869xxxxxx

     Send this message to 1900

2. After sending this message then you will get UPID (Unique porting ID - Unique Identity Number or UID) within 10 second.

UPID or UID look like : PZ12345 (first two alphabets followed by 6 digit)

UPID is having two month Expiry Date (if you got UPID on 1FEB 2011 then its expired on 30 APRIL 2011)

3. Then may be you will get the message from your current service provider. that you are speacial memeber of our family soon you be conttected.

4.  Take this PUID or UID to service provider you would want to opt for.

5. Your would-be service provider will happily take your form and submit your request to some arcane organisation like 'mobile portability clearing house' (a central database and an intermediary between your ex and new service provider I suppose which keeps track of all the switches).

6. The clearing house then sends a request to your existing service provider to deactivate your mobile number as part of their database and requests your new service provider to switch your number on their network and activate it.

7. Once this is done will you get an SMS from your new service provider giving you details like the date and time during which your phone will not get any service (apparently to execute the switch between two different networks).

8. Once you overcome this 'no-service' period bravely -- which incidentally is from midnight to 5 am -- in a bout of restlessness about the future of your mobile number, the next morning you will be ready to make calls on your new service provider's network.

3. Is there any Fee for MNP?

Yes- The new service provider will charge a fee (Port in Fee)  for MNP. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has fixed a ceiling amount of Rs. 19/- for this. BSNL  say that they will not collect the port in fee from the customers those who switch over to BSNL.

4. Is there any applying criteria for availing MNP facility ?

Yes.

• If you are post -paid customer there should not be any dues with your existing service provider. For pre-paid customers the credit balance will not be carry forwarded.
• You can switch over to a new service provider only after  90 days stay with the existing service provider.
• You have to wait minimum 90 days for second number porting. This is to prevent the misuse of this facility and prevent  frequent switching.

5. I have changed my mind after submitting  the application- Can I go back ?

Yes- You can withdraw the application within 24 hrs of submission. However the Port in fee will not be refunded.

6. How long it will take to switch over ?

After the application submission, it will take maximum four days. In J&K and North eastern states it is  within 12 days.

7. Is there any downtime while porting the numbers ?

Yes- There will be a down time of approximately 2 hrs while porting the numbers. During this period you may not be able to use the number. Both incoming and outgoing services will be interrupted. The porting will be carried out between the mid night and morning 5 O clock, so the two hours outage may not affect considerably affect the subscribers.

8. How to Change your Service provider thorough Mobile Number Portability ?

The following procedure to be carried out for opting a new mobile service provider under MNP

• Send an SMS  (Port <space>your mobile number) to 1900. Then you will get a reply SMS with a Unique Porting Code (UPC).
• Submit an application to the service provider where you want to shift  with this UPC in a prescribed format  (Remember the UPC will be valid only for few days).
• Your application will be processed by the new service provider and you will get an application receipt confirmation and the details of porting date.
• Once the porting is completed, confirmation message will be received.

TRAI estimates around 10% of mobile subscribers may change their service providers in the first year after the implementation. During the subsequent years this figure will be considerably reduced because the service providers will be compelled to give good quality of service.
