The ChaCha, a Facebook exclusive Android Smartphone on AT&T, best-known as Facebook Phone, has started enticing the ‘gadget fascinates’ in India. HTC has finally launched its hotly anticipated ‘The ChaCha’ In India.
The handset was in gossips since its first public appearance at the MWC 2011. At a reasonable price of Rs. 15,990, which makes it worth a buy for mid-range users, the device offers a 2.6" touchscreen and a 4-row QWERTY keypad for quick and easy texting.
However, the aces are held by the ‘Facebook’ feature, which allows an instant access to the social networking behemoth, Facebook, with the click of a button below the keypad.
The Salsa, a sibling of ‘The ChaCha’, which was launched last month for a price of Rs 20,000, had gained a fair bit of praise in the Indian market, but the recent launch is grabbing blather of a review.
It’s a decent handset with above average features, including a five megapixel camera integrated with ‘autofocus and LED flash’ and a VGA front-facing camera for enhanced video calling.
The new Smartphone, which looks nice along with being a high-end gadget, will offer 3GB free data and 300 free local calls for ‘Tata to Tata’ network, to its 2G prepaid customers.
While the 3G prepaid customers will receive 3GB free data with a validity of 90 days, postpaid users will get 1GB free each month with 90 days of validity.
In addition, 3G users will also receive 3 hour of ‘free Mobile TV’, which includes data access charges with 90 days of validity.
