Lap Dance At Dallas Cowboys Game Sends Security Running, Delights Fans (VIDEO)

It's telling of just how far the Dallas Cowboys have fallen this season that two fans passionately making out while one of them gives the other a lap dance received far more attention than the action on the field.

The security guards come over when things look like they're about to get more serious, and there's only a brief shot of the woman's bra and fans throwing one dollar bills at the amorous couple, so this video is pretty safe for work. The question is: will you enjoy it as much as the guys shooting it? Probably not.

cricket live score | Ruthless India demolish Australia

India beat Australia by seven wickets to register a historic clean sweep of the two-Test series 2-0 on the fifth and final day here at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium

Set to score 207, the home team romped home with seven wickets to spare thanks to Cheteshwar Pujara’s 72 and Sachin Tendulkar who remained not out whith a half century.

Both Vijay and Pujara scored at a brisk pace. Needing 207 of a minimum of 77 overs for a victory, India lost opener Sehwag to a bad shot selection but Vijay and Pujara, who was promoted at number three, ensured that no more damage is done to the home side.

Vijay was solid and ran for singles to give more strike to his partner Pujara who showed his aggressive intent early, particularly against spinner Nathan Hauritz.

Pujara was stroking well except an upish shot and was lucky as the ball fell short of Australian captain Ricky Ponting at short midwicket.

Bangalore: Debutant Cheteshwar Pujara proved an unlikely hero as India thrashed Australia by seven wickets in the second and final Test on Wednesday to sweep the series 2-0. Pujara hit a fluent 72 as the hosts, set 207 runs to win on a wearing wicket, cruised home soon after tea on the fifth and final day at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore.

Veteran Sachin Tendulkar, who hit a double-century in the first innings, remained unbeaten on 53 as India enhanced their reputation as the world's number one Test side.

Chennai Super Kings won by 8 wickets

Chennai Super Kings won by 8 wickets

Chennai Super Kings were crowned the Champions League Twenty20 winners with their eight-wicket victory over Warriors in the grand finale.

Vijay (58 off 53 balls), who was let off when on 34, cracked his third half-century of the tournament while the other opener Hussey played sheet anchor and remained not out on 51 as Chennai chased down the small target of 129 with one over to spare.

Spinners Muttiah Muralitharan (3/16) and Ravichandran Ashwin (2/16) shared five wickets as Chennai restricted Warriors to 128 for seven after the South African champion side elected to bat at the New Wanderers Stadium. Vijay underlined his emergence as a fine Twenty20 batsman by becoming the highest run getter of the tournament with 294 runs from six matches, eight more than Warriors captain Davy Jacobs.

Vijay's 53-ball innings was studded with six fours and two sixes while Hussey hit only three fours from 46 balls in his unbeaten knock. CSK were richer by $2.5 millions for winning the second edition of the tournament, their second crown in five months after their IPL triumph in April.

Warriors received $1.3 million for finishing runners-up of the grand finale of the multi-dollar tournament, however, turned out to be a lopsided match with the Warriors bowlers failing to make any impact on the batsmen of the opposition who have beaten them in their last Group A league fixture four days ago.

The total of 128 was too small to defend and Chennai was always in control of the run chase though it got a bit tight with Suresh Raina, who was mainly responsible for CSK's semi-final win against Royal Challengers Bangalore with an aggressive 94, out cheaply for just two.

Hussey and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (17 not out), however, held on their nerves to pull off the win with a 25-run partnership for the unbroken third wicket. Dhoni hit the winning runs - a four off Juan Theron - as Chennai scored 132 for two in 19 overs to lift the title.

Vijay and Hussey did not need to take too much risk as they ran mostly in singles in their 103-run opening wicket stand in front of a capacity crowd. Vijay lived dangerously on a couple of occasions with an edge from his bat flying past wicketkepeer Mark Boucher and Justin Kreusch for a four.

He was also lucky to survive in the ninth over with wicketkeeper Mark Boucher missing a simple stumping chance off the bowling of Nicky Boje when on 34. But he made amends of these lapses later as he struck some fine shots, including two sixes off Nicky Boje.

Vijay fell to Boje in the 15th over after taking his side to the threshold of victory.

Rain delays men’s U.S. Open final for second day

A thunderstorm forced the suspension of Monday’s U.S. Open men’s singles final between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

The match was delayed by a day for the third year in a row after foul weather washed out any chance of play on Sunday and was halted midway through the second set on Monday.

Nadal, bidding to win the U.S. Open for the first time and complete his collection of grand slam titles, won the opening set 6-4 in 50 minutes and was locked at 4-4 with Djokovic in the second when rain forced players, officials and spectators to dash for cover.

U.S. Tennis Association officials said they expected the storm to pass after an hour but local weather forecasters said there was a chance of more rain in the evening, which would jeopardise the chances of completing the match on Monday.

The delay spoiled what was looming as a classic match between the world’s top two ranked players.

The pair set the tone for the match with an extraordinary opening point, which featured some ferocious groundstrokes, a sublime drop shot from Nadal and a brilliant crosscourt winner from Djokovic.

Unfortunately for the Serbian, who won the toss and elected to serve first, it was the only point he won in the opening game as Nadal, dressed menacingly in all-black, reeled off the next four points to grab an early break.

Djokovic, showing no signs of weariness after his gruelling five-set semi-final win over Roger Federer on Saturday, broke Nadal’s serve in the fourth game to level the opening set a 2-2.

But the Spaniard regained his advantage when he broke for a second time to lead 3-2, pounding the ball deep into Djokovic’s court after the Serbian, who leapfrogged Federer to number two in the world when the latest rankings were released earlier in the day, fended off five break points.

Nadal held his remaining games to wrap up the first set as the clouds began rolling in and the centre court floodlights were switched on, but lost his groove midway through the second, giving up 11 straight points as Djokovic opened up a 4-1 lead.

But Nadal, who has not dropped a set in the tournament, rallied back and took the next three games to level the set when rain interrupted the match.

The delay was sure to raise more questions about why there is no roof over the centre court at the U.S. Open.

The centre courts at both the Australian Open and Wimbledon have retractable roofs while organisers of the French Open are in talks about covering up their main court.

But U.S. Tennis Association officials have balked at the idea because of the cost of covering Arthur Ashe Stadium, the world’s largest tennis stadium.

Monday’s final did not begin until 4:22 p.m. (2022 GMT) even though the stadium had been bathed in sunshine earlier in the day.

The women’s doubles final, which was close to completion when the rain began on Sunday, finished almost an hour earlier, with American Vania King and Yaroslava Shvedova of Kazakhstan surviving a match point down to beat American Liezel Huber and Nadia Petrova of Russia 2-6 6-4 7-6.

“I don’t feel like we’ve won because today was such a short day,” Shvedova said.

Alex Barron Penalty Costs Cowboys Win Against Redskins

Donovan McNabb is finally beat the Dallas Cowboys by change the uniform. In first half huge momentum touchdown then second half  hung on to withstand a final, surviving only when Dallas' 12th penalty of the game negated what appeared to be the winning score.

DeAngelo Hall returned a fumble 32 yards for Washington's only touchdown, and McNabb completed 15 of 32 passes for 171 yards in his Redskins debut Sunday night in a season-opening, when-do-we-exhale 13-7 win over the Cowboys. It was also the Redskins' curtain-raiser for Mike Shanahan, and the longtime Denver Broncos coach watched his defense keep the Cowboys at bay when it mattered.
The Cowboys (0-1) moved inside the Redskins 40 on three of their first four drives and didn't score a point, but the drive everyone will remember is the last one, which came after Graham Gano made a 49-yard field with 1:50 remaining to give the Redskins (1-0) a 13-7 lead

After the kickoff, the Cowboys started at their own 19 with 1:45 left. They converted a fourth-and-10 at Washington's 43 when Tony Romo hit wide-open Miles Austin over the middle for a 30-yard gain with 12 seconds to go. Three plays later, Romo had only 3 seconds left on the clock, the ball at the 13-yard line. He scrambled to find Roy Williams open in the end zone.

But, while Williams and the Cowboys were celebrating, the official was calling Alex Barron for holding Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo, negating the score and providing a fitting end to a game in which the Cowboys made mistake after mistake. Barron was starting because Marc Colombo missed the game with a knee injury.

McNabb was playing the Cowboys for the third straight game, the first player to do so since the 1970 merger. His Eagles lost to Dallas 24-0 to end the regular season in 2009, then 34-14 the following week in the playoffs in his last game with Philadelphia before the Easter Sunday trade that sent him to the Redskins. He now trails Romo 5-3 when the two quarterbacks go head-to-head.

Romo completed 31 of 41 passes 282 yards for the Cowboys. Austin caught 10 passes for 146 yards and scored the game's only offensive touchdown.

The Redskins opened a new era with McNabb and Shanahan and sported a retro look with burgundy jerseys and gold pants at home. LeBron James was among the 90,670 fans on hand for the prime time game, and even Albert Haynesworth got in the game for a dozen or so plays after a drama-filled offseason and training camp in which he was often at odds with his new coach.

A yawner of a first half was headed toward a plodding finish when Dallas coach Wade Phillips decided to try to score instead of run out the clock when the Cowboys got the ball at their own 30 with 27 records remaining. On the last play - with 4 seconds left when the ball was snapped - Romo threw short to Tashard Choice, who had the ball stripped by Hall with help from Lorenzo Alexander and Andre Carter. Hall picked up the ball and ran for the score, somersaulting into the end zone to give the Redskins a 10-0 lead into the locker room.

It was the first touchdown the Redskins had scored against the Cowboys since 2008, having settled for just two field goals in a pair of losses last year. The win also gave Washington a badly needed NFC East win, having gone 0-6 in the division during last year's 4-12 season under coach Jim Zorn.

The Redskins had a chance to pad the lead early in the second half. In fact, they did pad the lead when Gano made a 36-yard field goal, but Shanahan took the points off the board when Orlando Scandrick was called for offsides. With first-and-10 at the 13, the Redskins still couldn't punch it in, and their next field goal try went away when holder Josh Bidwell had the snap go through his hands.

Bidwell's miserable third quarter continued when he shanked a 27-yard punt on Washington's next possession, giving the Cowboys the ball at the Redskins 34. Romo needed only six plays to score, hitting Austin over the middle with a 4-yard pass with 1:41 remaining in the quarter.

The Redskins scored the game's first points by driving 69 yards for a field on a drive aided by a roughing the passer penalty on Jay Ratliff. McNabb scrambled for 17 yards to convert a third down, and a 14-yard gain on a screen to Chris Cooley led to Gano's 29-yard field goal.

Romo drove the Cowboys inside the Redskins' 40 on three of Dallas' first four possessions, relying heavily on screen passes, but two drives ended in punts and another proved fruitless when David Buehler's first NFL field goal attempt went wide right from 34 yards.

Ben Roethlisberger's Suspension

Ben Roethlisberger's Suspension Is Cut to Four Games From Six by NFL

Roethlisberger is an American football quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Steelers 11th overall in the 2004 NFL Draft.

Ben Roethlisberger’s suspension was reduced to four games from six by National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, who was suspended after being accused of sexually assaulting two women, can return to play on Oct. 17 at home against the Cleveland Browns.

Goodell had barred Roethlisberger from the first six games of the regular season for violating the league’s personal- conduct policy. The commissioner said in a letter to Roethlisberger in April that the player’s conduct at a Milledgeville, Georgia, club the previous month undermined the integrity and reputation of the NFL, and that he put himself and others at risk by providing alcohol to underage college students.

“You have told me and the Steelers that you are committed to making better decisions,” Goodell said in a letter to Roethlisberger, according to an NFL statement. “Your actions over the past several months have been consistent with that promise and you must continue to honor that commitment.”

Goodell also barred Roethlisberger from the team’s offseason training until he completed a “comprehensive behavioral evaluation by medical professionals,” mandatory under the league’s policy, the NFL said.

Roethlisberger met today with Goodell. The commissioner said at the time of the suspension that if Roethlisberger followed the league’s guidelines and avoided trouble, he would consider reducing the suspension to four games.

The reduction comes more than four months after prosecutors said they wouldn’t charge the 28-year-old quarterback for an alleged sexual assault on a 20-year-old college student in the Milledgeville bar.

Wozniacki eliminates NCAA champion Chelsey Gullickson at US Open 2010

Caroline Wozniacki and Chelsey Gullickson took the court in Arthur Ashe stadium late Tuesday, only a small fraction of the crowd remained. Rafael Nadal, the captivating top seed on the men’s side, had already beaten Teymuraz Gabashvili in just under three hard-fought hours, and few decided to stay for the less well-known women’s No. 1.

Seeking her first major title, 2009 U.S. Open runner-up Wozniacki beat NCAA champion Chelsey Gullickson 6-1, 6-1 in the first round at Flushing Meadows.Because of long matches earlier, this one began at 11:52 p.m. Tuesday night and ended at 12:53 a.m. Wednesday.“Thank you for sticking around,” Wozniacki told what was left of the Arthur Ashe Stadium crowd afterward, “even though I know it’s been a long night.”

On a day of long matches and extended play, Wozniacki simply overpowered her opponent, and then made sure to tell the few hundred people who remained to watch it how much she appreciated their support. "I want to say thanks to everyone for sticking around," she said on court. "I know it’s been a long night." The match did not begin until 11:51 p.m. because the Nadal-Gabashvili match started 90 minutes late because Maria Sharapova required three sets to beat Jarmila Groth in the final match of the day card on Ashe.So day matches turned into night matches, early night matches became late night matches, and late night matches became early Wednesday morning matches.

Maria Sharapova

Maria Sharapova stays on point, despite early struggles, to advance at U.S. Open
Reporting from New York
Maria Sharapova never changed her game plan -- to be aggressive, to aim her groundstrokes deep and toward the lines -- not even when she dropped the first set to undistinguished Jarmila Groth, who is ranked 60th in the world. But the occasion of being at Arthur Ashe Stadium, the largest venue in professional tennis, was unfamiliar to Groth and when the chance came to maybe win the biggest match in her life, she couldn't do it.

On the first day, there was Kim. On the first night, there was Venus. Tuesday we welcome Maria.
f this year’s U.S. Open women’s tournament has no hands-down favorite, Kim Clijsters, Venus Williams and Maria Sharapova at least qualify as frontrunners. Clijsters did her part Monday afternoon with a straight-sets win. Williams, who hadn’t played a match since Wimbledon, defeated Roberta Vinci 6-4, 6-1, though she looked a little shaky in the first set. Sharapova gets her turn Tuesday afternoon at Arthur Ashe Stadium. It’s something of a surprise that Sharapova isn’t in a class all her own by now. When she won Wimbledon at age 17, in 2004, she seemed destined for greatness. Since then, she’s been merely good, at times very good, and twice good enough to win Grand Slam titles. But a consistent killer she isn’t, at least not in the mold of Steffi Graf, Monica Seles or Serena Williams. In the last few years, she has struggled with injuries, most notably to her shoulder, which was surgically repaired in 2008
