Motorola introduces a new bar-type QWERTY Android smartphone, the Motorola FIRE XT316. Looks a bit like the Palm Pixi/Pixi Plus, the FIRE has a 4-row QWERTY keyboard and a 2.8-inch touchscreen to provide the perfect combination of tools for emailing, texting and browsing the Web. The phone runs Android OS and includes the Moto Switch user interface, which allows users to switch to a friends-centric mode when they finish work and head home for the day.

White Google Nexus S Headed To Vodafone UK
Vodafone UK has announced that they will be selling a white version of the Google Nexus S smartphone in the UK and 23 other countries around the world, and it looks like the white version will be exclusive to Vodafone.
The Google Nexus S comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and it has a 4 inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 pixels, processing is provided by a 1GHz processor.
There is also two cameras, with a front facing VGA camera for video chat and a rear facing 5 megapixel camera, it also feature NFC capabilities, A-GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
Vodafone UK have not given an exact date of when the white Nexus S will be available in the UK and there are also no details on pricing.

Sony Tablets S1, S2 Official news from sony source
Sony has official unveiled its new tablets today, codenamed the S1 and S2 at a press event in Tokyo. The tablets come in two distinct styles with the Sony S1 tablet equipped with a 9.4-inch display and a wedge shape design which Sony says provides a more ergonomic tablet to use. While the S2 is designed as a foldable dual-screen tablet, fitted with a pair of 5.5-inch 1,024 x 480 pixel displays.
The S1 and S2 feature a Tegra 2 SoC processor and will ship running Google’s Honeycomb Android OS which has been specifically designed for tablet devices. Both tablets are also WiFi and WAN (3G/4G) compatible and are equipped with Sony’s customised “Quick and Smooth” touch panel UI with “Swift” web browser.
Using the Sony Tablet users will be able to control their Sony equipment using infrared technology and transforming the S1 into a universal remote control for a variety of Sony AV devices. Together with the ability to stream media from the Sony Tablets to your large screen HDTV.

Samsung Galaxy S 4G Review, Specification, Features, Price
Just days after the word got around that T-Mobile was working on launching a new 4G variant of the popular Samsung Vibrant comes an official announcement in this regard. According to a media statement released by the carrier, the new Samsung Galaxy S 4G will be T-Mobile’s first smartphone to be capable of running at thereotical high speeds of 21 Mbps.
