Performance tests of the new MacBook Pro show surprising results

You can look the same on the outside, but the new MacBook Pro a real beast hidden inside. Early benchmarks Geekbench made to show exceptional performance across the range, surpassing not only loosely to previous models, but also desktop computers such as iMac 27 "last year or the Mac Pro 2008 (and the model most basic of last year). It seems that the new Sandy Bridge processors are full of surprises.

You see, the power of the new MacBook Pro is beyond doubt. The most basic model performance is on par with the most powerful model of the previous generation while the new 17-inch MacBook Pro is 80% stronger than its previous incarnation.

Noted that the tool Geekbench 2 is limited to assessing the performance of the processor and memory, so that these great results would be even better if the equation metiese new AMD Radeon GPUs, up to three times higher than that of the models above. Does anyone still think that there has been a major upgrade?
