St. Patrick’s Day is this Thursday March 17th. Celebrations have already started and will continue until the big day. I was actually in Savannah this past weekend for a culinary retreat. Savannah hosts one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day parades and festivities in the country. There was literally green everywhere you looked. From the greening of the fountains in the magnificent squares, to the men walking around in kilts, to the students dressed in beads and silly hats. They even serve green beer during the festivities. They are serious about St. Patty’s day in Savannah!
