Microsoft announced at the Mobile World Congress the new features of Windows Phone 7

A few days after the announcement of partnership between Nokia and Microsoft, the Redmond giant unveiled new features for Windows 7 Phone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.




Since March chronological order the new features will be: "Copy and paste", to be incorporated into the first update of the operating system, integration with Twitter People in Hub, support for Office documents in the cloud, the incorporation of Internet Explorer 9 for improving the browsing experience and a new wave of multithreaded applications.

These new features will be available throughout the year. By 2012 the aim is the implementation of the operating system in a large number of Nokia following the agreement reached between the two companies on 11 February.

According to Andy Lees, president of Mobile Communications Business at Microsoft, in short sharecroppers in U.S. terminals equipped with Windows Phone 7 through Verizon and Sprint.
