Aim: To answer the questions of the people about praying the Hail Mary many times than the Our Father

Date: Written (on paper) on the day of October 13, the anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun

The Most Holy Rosary has been a tradition for centuries. Wars have won because of the Rosary. Heresies are defeated through the Rosary and many were healed and converted because of the Rosary.

From the time heresies and plagues haunted the world and the Church, they placed their hopes on the Rosary. From the time when the Bible is only used by the monks, they know the life of Christ and His unconditional love through the Rosary. Mama Mary, in her apparitions at Fatima, Lourdes and La Salette, invites us to pray the Rosary everyday and repent your sins to God and God promised through her handmaid that the Rosary will be an instrument of conversion, salvation, healing and strength.

Now, there are some Christians, particularly Protestants and other Bible Christians are asking why do we pray the Hail Mary many times than the Our Father and the Glory Be, and sometimes they accused us of idolatry by giving importance to Mary than to God.

Remember, Protestants define worship by songs, sermons and prayers. We Catholics define worship through the Sacrament of the Eucharist, where Our Lord is remembered as the Lamb of God, offered to cleanse our sins no matter what form of mass you hear everyday. If the Sacrament of the Eucharist is Marian-centered not Christ-centered, well, that is idolatry. He..he..he..

Now, about the praying of the Rosary, the Rosary is the Summary of the Bible. The Joyful Mysteries reflects about the early days of Our King, the Luminous reflects the ministry of Our King for the Kingdom of the Father, the Sorrowful reflects how Our King gave up his life for us and the Glorious reflects the Glory of Our King Resurrected and the Solemn Assumption and Coronation of the Handmaid of the Lord as Queen of Heaven and Earth (Rv 12:1, Jn 19:26-27).

Now the prayers. The Prayers of the Rosary are in the Bible. The Sign of the Cross signifies that we honor Christ and remembers our baptism, the Apostles' Creed profess the Secret of Our Faith (1 Tim 3:15-16), we remember the prayer of Our King through the Our Father (Mat 6:9-13), we remember the angelic salutation in the Hail Mary, we glorify the One Triune God in the Glory Be, we ask Jesus of His Mercy on the Fatima Prayer and we describe Mama Mary as the Model of the Christians in the Litany and the Hail Holy Queen.

When we repeat the Hail Mary, we glorify God. If we praise God of his creation, we praise God the Creator because Mama Mary is a part of His creation, destined for Co-Redemption.(example of repeated prayers: Rv 4:8) When we say "Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for Us Sinners, Now and at the Hour of Our Death, Amen", we refer Mama Mary as our intercessor and she prays for us in Heaven in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ (Rv:5:8).

I hope your questions are answered, and I suggest that study Our Faith with hearts opened, and to all Catholics, pray the Rosary everyday along with your friends and family because the family (friends are considered a family) prays together, stays together).

Ave Maria!

Pax Christi,

Nico Lopez
