St.
Paul forbade women to speak in church. "Let women keep silence in the
churches, for it is not permitted them to speak, but let them be
submissive, as the Law also says...it is unseemly for a woman to speak
in church" (I Corinthians 14:34-35)
Many Novus Ordo churches ignore
this rule - they ignore a direct command from St. Paul - a man much
greater than they could ever hope to be - and sadly, women read the Holy
Scriptures in most Novus Ordo churches. In fact, at the church I
attend, it is quite unusual to see a man as a lay reader.
Women - in
fact all laypeople - have no right to read the Scriptures at Mass and
even less of a right to administer Holy Communion to the faithful. The
Council of Trent states:
"If anyone says that all Christians
[lay people] have the power to administer the word [read at Mass] and
all the sacraments [give out communion], let him be anathema."
[Canon 10, Session VII, March 3, 1547]

DEAR RAY,
THE POINT
OF ST. PAUL HERE IS THAT WOMEN SHOULD BE SUBJECTED TO THE AUTHORITY OF
THE MEN AND MUST NOT ABROGATE THE AUTHORITY OF THE ALL-MALE PRIESTHOOD.
BUT IT IS NOT A DOGMATIC PRONOUNCEMENTS THAT WOMEN CANNOT BE AUTHORIZED
BY MEN TO READ IN THE ASSEMBLY. BECAUSE IF THE WOMEN ARE GIVEN
AUTHORIZATION BY THE MALE-PRIEST WHICH REPRESENT JESUS AS THE HIGH
PRIEST THEN IT IS NOT A VIOLATION OF THE COMMAND. BECAUSE THE WOMAN DID
IT NOT THROUGH REJECTION OF THE AUTHORITY OF THE CHURCH BUT IN OBEDIENCE
TO THE AUTHORITY OF THE CHURCH.
[Many Novus Ordo churches ignore

THE PAULINE MASS
CHURCHES ARE ACTUALLY UTILIZING TO THE FULL THE AUTHORITY OF THE CHURCH
ON WOMEN THAT THEY SHOULD SUBMIT. THEIR READING IN THE CHURCH IS AN ACT
OF SUBMISSION AND OF SERVICE.
YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT THE POPE
HAS THE POWER TO BIND AND TO LOOSE AS SUCCESSOR OF ST. PETER [MT
16;18-19] AND THE BISHOPS AS WELL AS SUCCESSORS OF THE APOSTLES [MT
18:18]. THE SERVANT OF GOD POPE PAUL VI, OF HAPPY MEMORY,SIMPLY EMPLOYED
HIS POWER TO LOOSE THAT DIRECTIVE WHICH IS NOT DOGMATIC AND
NON-BINDING. AND HE WAS SUPPORTED BY THE BISHOPS OF THE UNIVERSAL
CHURCH.
MUCH MORE, YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN THE REAL INTENTION OF THE
TEXT. THE PROHIBITION TO SPEAK IS BASICALLY A PROHIBITION TO TEACH AND
PREACH INSIDE THE CHURCH NOT ESSENTIALLY ON DISALLOWING THEM TO READ.
THE INTENTION IS WELL PRESERVED IN THE PAULINE MASS BECAUSE IT PROHIBITS
WOMEN TO PREACH AND TO TEACH DURING THE HOLY MASS. THAT MINISTERIAL
DUTY IS RESERVED FOR PRIESTS AND DEACONS.
PERHAPS YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF THIS DECISION OF THE COUNCIL OF TRENT:
"It
declares furthermore, that in the dispensation of the sacraments, salva
illorum substantia, the CHURCH may, according to CIRCUMSTANCES, TIMES
AND PLACES, determine or CHANGE whatever she may judge most expedient
for the benefit of those receiving them or for the veneration of the
sacraments, and THIS POWER HAS ALWAYS BEEN HERS." [COUNCIL OF TRENT 21st
Session, Chap II under Pope Pius IV July 1562]
[In fact, at the church I attend, it is quite unusual to see a man as a lay reader.]
MOST
PROBABLY YOU ARE ATTENDING MASSES FROM SSPX AND OTHER LITURGICAL REBELS
WHO REFUSED TO RECOGNIZE THE AUTHORITY OF THE CHURCH TO PUT CHANGES IN
THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE SACRAMENTS. THESE PEOPLE ARE STAGNANT IN THEIR
MINDSET AND EVERYTHING THAT COMES FROM VATICAN II IS REJECTED BECAUSE
THEIR MINDS ARE PREGNANT WITH MALICE.
[Women - in fact all
laypeople - have no right to read the Scriptures at Mass and even less
of a right to administer Holy Communion to the faithful.]
WOMEN
HAVE RIGHT TO READ THE FIRST AND SECOND READINGS AS WELL AS THE
RESPONSORIAL PSALM IN THE MASS BECAUSE THE CHURCH AUTHORIZED THEM TO DO
SO. UNFORTUNATELY YOU ARE NOT OUR POPE AND THE BISHOPS OF THE UNIVERSAL
CHURCH ARE NOT AGREEING WITH YOU. I ONLY RECOGNIZE THE AUTHORITY OF THE
VICAR OF CHRIST WHOSE DECISION AND JUDGMENT IS THE DEFINITIVE AUTHORITY
ON EARTH ON MATTERS INVOLVING FAITH AND MORALS AS WELL AS CANONICAL AND
LITURGICAL MATTERS. PLEASE DON'T PRETEND TO BE HIGHER THAN OUR POPE.
[The Council of Trent states:
"If anyone says that all Christians
[lay people] have the power to administer the word [read at Mass] and
all the sacraments [give out communion], let him be anathema."

THE
COUNCIL OF TRENT ALSO SAID THAT SUCH RULES CAN BE CHANGED ACCORDING TO
CIRCUMSTANCES, TIMES AND PLACES. THAT POWER TO CHANGE IS ALWAYS...
CONSTANTLY PRESENT IN THE CHURCH. HOW COME YOU ARE IGNORANT OF THAT
POWER? HOW COME YOU REFUSE THAT AUTHORITY WHEN IT WAS EMPLOYED?
YOU ONLY SHOWED THE PROHIBITION BUT YOU DIDN'T CITE THE PROVISION FOR POSSIBLE CHANGES. THAT IS SATANIC.
ACTUALLY,
IT WAS THE SAME TECHNIQUE AND POWER USED WHEN THE TLM WAS IMPLEMENTED
BY POPE PIUS V. IT WAS A NEW RITE WHICH CAME FROM VARIOUS RITES BEFORE
IT. THE TLM WAS ALSO NEW WHEN IT WAS IMPLEMENTED. IT WAS NOT THE MASS OF
THE APOSTLES.
LET ME CHECK YOUR CITATION MORE CLOSELY:
"If anyone says that all
Christians [lay people] have the power to administer the word [read at
Mass] and all the sacraments [give out communion], let him be anathema."
THE
CHURCH DIDN’T TEACH THAT ALL CHRISTIANS HAVE THE POWER TO ADMINISTER
THE WORD AND ALL THE SACRAMENTS. WHERE DID YOU GET THAT? THE POWER THAT
BELONGS TO THE PRIESTS ARE KEPT FOR THE PRIESTS BECAUSE WOMEN ARE NOT
ORDAINED AS PRIESTS.
YOU SATANICALLY INSERTED 'LAY PEOPLE' THERE AS
WELL AS ‘READ AT MASS’ AND ‘GIVE OUT COMMUNION’. O NO, NO, NO… THE
ORIGINAL TEXT DOES NOT HAVE THAT. THAT IS FOUL.
WOMEN DO NOT
ADMINISTER THE WORDS THEY ARE SIMPLY READING BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT
FUNCTIONING AS MINISTER OF THE WORD. READING A TEXT DOES NOT MAKE ONE A
MINISTER OF THE SACRAMENTS. IT IS THE PRIEST THAT IS THE MINISTER OF THE
SACRAMENTS IN THE PAULINE MASS. YOU ARE EQUATING 'READING' WITH
'ADMINISTERIAL POWER'... NO, NO, NO... THE WOMEN LECTORS ARE MERE
SERVANTS OF THE CHURCH WITH NO MINISTERIAL OFFICE. THE AUTHORIZATION FOR
THEM TO READ THE OLD TESTAMENT PASSAGES AND THE EPISTLES OF THE NEW
TESTAMENT DOES NOT MAKE THEM ADMINISTRATORS OF THE SACRAMENTS. NO, NO,
NO... THAT IS ONLY A PRODUCT OF YOUR IMAGINATION.
CONCERNING THE
SPECIAL MINISTERS OF THE HOLY COMMUNION… THOSE WHO ARE DISTRIBUTING
COMMUNION IN THE MASS ARE NOT ORDINARY LAY BUT THEY ARE SPECIAL
MINISTERS OF THE CHURCH. THEY ARE ‘MINISTERS’ OF THE CHURCH. THEY HAVE
BEEN GIVEN SPECIAL POWER AND AUTHORIZATION TO DISTRIBUTE HOLY COMMUNION.
THEY CAN ONLY FUNCTION AS SUCH TEMPORARILY AND THEIR POWER ARE LIMITED
BUT THEY ARE NOT TO BE EQUATED WITH THE ORDINARY LAY. IF THE CHURCH HAS
THE AUTHORITY TO MAKE THE DEACONS EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF THE
EUCHARIST THE CHURCH HAS THE SAME AUTHORITY TO CREATE MORE MINISTRIES IN
THE CHURCH AS PRACTICAL SITUATIONS DEMANDS.
