Here's a camera that can almost rivala cameraphone in features and connectivity. While the 3-inch LCD display, 14.2-megapixel CCD sensor, 5x optical zoom and touchscreen controls are great, it's the connectivity that makes it stand out. Connect it to your smart phone and monitor the action on the phone screen to control the zoom and shutter when taking self portraits. It also has built-in Wi-Fi to automatically back up shots to your computer and upload your pictures to social networking sites like Facebook or mail them directly to friends. The SH1OO can also upload video straight to YouTube.
While 1'm still not convinced about the whole 3D revolution, some products still make a lot of sense. Combine that with some serious specs and you have an outright winner, This Sony 'cammie' has two lenses and can capture 1920 x 1080 HD video from each. That's twice as much as before and makes a stunning difference to the final Double HD 3D picture. It can also do normal 2D with just the left lens. Also cool is the fact that you can watch your 3D masterpiece on the 3.5-inch LCD display without 3D glasses!
While LG also annouced the LG Optimus Black at CES, it was the Revolution that stole the show. This one has a mammoth 4.3- inch touchscreen that has stunning clarity and is supremely responsive. Other add-ons are a front-facing camera far video calling, a 5MP main camera with an LED flash, HD camcorder, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI port and DLNA. It's on Android 2.2 right now but can be upgraded further.
It's tough to get a netbook (Jut today that can still have people go wow, but the HP DM1 does just that. This is an 11 inch netbook that blows most.of'the competition out of the water. It's very fast. runs very cool, has great aesthetics. fantastic lasting power on battery, good speakers and a very well thought out keyboard. It's the AMD Fusion processor that really makes this small, light little laptop a total pocket rocket.
The small 'take in your pocket' blogger type of video cameras seem to be a rage but most seem klunky, not ver'y well thought out and the final output is horrendous, The Playfull from Kodak seems to know its limitations and does a goodjob for what it is intended for. It's a Full HD digital video camera that has the shape and size of a small digital voice recorder and allows users to send videos by email or upload them to sites like You'Iube. The Kodak Playfull can also capture stills at a resolution of 5 megapixels. In addition, this little thing also has in-camera editing to let you trim and reduce your movie or image before you start uploading it.
Samsung calls it the world's thinnest Blu-Ray player, but it is the feature set inside this thin sliver of electronics that makes it really unique. It has 2D-to-3D converson capabilities and can up-convert normal SD content and streaming video to HD. Plus the unit's built-in Wi·Fi gets it to easily connect to other devices without wire clutter. The DI.NA-certified player is just 0.9 inches thick and has a start up time of under three seconds.
This is a dual-screen 'touchbook' with no physical keyboard, Think of it as two regular tablets, or one screen with a touchscreen keyboard or even a book with two full-page screens or a large open digital magazine. Even the video on it can run from one screen to another. Opening webpages and two applications simultaneously is quite amazing. If the battery life on this can be made better, the possibilities are endless.
