Lady Gaga's Meat Dress
MTV Music Awards ceremony at last night Lady Gaga done it again for talking about outlet.
In what seemed to be a generational fashion changing-of-the-guard, Cher presented Gaga with the moon man statue for Video of the Year. "I never thought I'd be asking Cher to hold my meat purse," exclaimed a delighted Gaga as she accepted.
It's not the first time the pop princess has gone bovine. Earlier this year she modeled a meat bikini for the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan designed by Franc Fernandez.
Last night Ellen DeGeneres taped the season premiere of her show outside the Nokia Theater, and asked Gaga about her peculiar outfit.
"Well, it is certainly no disrespect to anyone that is vegan or vegetarian. As you know, I am the most judgment-free human being on the earth," Gaga replied.
"However, it has many interpretations, but for me this evening ... If we don't stand up for what we believe in and if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones. And I am not a piece of meat," she added, holding up the magazine cover.
Ellen, who is a vegan, then offered Gaga a bikini made of veggies and suggested she wear that instead.
